"Two types of vineyards can be
differentiated:
the classic vineyards and
the non traditional vineyards"

From the Valley to the Steppes

Grapes are harvested in our own vineyards, located in two different Patagonian environments: the Upper Valley of the Negro River and the Patagonian Steppes.

  • In the area of the valleys, north of Negro River, you can find "La Antigua" estate with its 45 year-old vineyards. The climate is not too arid, the plantations are wind-sheltered and planted with the traditional trellises system.

  • In the steppes, south of Negro River, lies "La Agreste" estate, with its non-traditional vineyards, with arid climate and wild soil. In this context, grapes grow up sharing the same climatic inclemencies together with the native flora and fauna. In these vineyards the spirit of the Patagonian nature, with its wilderness and hostility, is always present.
